Scammer asking for banking information and suggesting irregular activity on bank account.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. Recorded femael voice with American accent saying she was from my bank's security and two withdrawls had been made on my card. No name of bank, card, or card holder. This is a scam to obtain my personal details or gain access to my phone.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Don't know who it was, they didn't leave a message, I didn't answer the phone because I was preparing lunch. Have now blocked the number because on another site over 600 people received a call today.

Looks like dating related scam. Asks to contact on WhatsApp probably to get phone numbers.

A man rang from this number, I think he said from PAC - had my name and said I had been advised by a financial adviser to move my pension. When I asked where he got this information, he said from Pensionwise. As far as I am aware Pensionwise do not have such information. I said I had not seen a financial advisor or been advised to move my pension. The man was very polite and rang off. I was suspicious and think it could have been a dangerous if I had shared financial info.

Caller claimed to be from BT technical services. She told me that there were a number of people using my internet connection and there numerous errors. I asked her for the error numbers and how did they know and my husband was to blame for using naughty sites - she rang off, saying that I could chose to believe or not.

2022.07.18 at 13:37 my phone showed ‘International’, with the number 0049 1375 381293, which looks like it came from Germany (0049), but with a local code that was the same as my own ((0)1375)... anyway a recorded message claimed it was from 'bank security', that two large withdrawals had been made on my account, inc one from Amazon, and that I needed to press a particular number to speak to them. This is obviously a SCAM and an ATTEMPTED FRAUD..

Got an 'NHS' text from this number (why? I live 200 miles from Oswestry!) about my 'referral'. The text didn't mention my name or surgery so alarm bells rang. Obvious scam asking me to call back to 'discuss' my referral.

SCAM Call says they are from the housing disrepair centre calling about the problems i have reported. Except i haven't logged any calls for repairs. They call constantly and wont stop, they just hang up and call back later.
