In the past I ve listened to what their introduction, and then politely told them I m not interested, and thanks for calling. Nowadays I just put the phone down. If it s a genuine caller, then they ll call back ... which they never do.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

Got a call from the coop fraud department. But the message said "we cannot retrieve your details at this time please press any key" I did and it then asked me for my phone number. If it does this then IT IS A FRAUD CALL. Look at the website to see what message you will get. its very basic and not like this. It will ask a yes or no question and thats it.
