Noticed Scottish code, am in south England. Windows and doors mentioned. Lady called Sam rang saying I believe you are the home-owner......I had said nothing and left a silence then shouted NO!! Ended the call. Hope she's recovered her hearing. Blocked number with BT.

Strongly suspect this is a scammer phone because (a) we don't believe EE employs phone sales people who cannot speak clearly in English, and (b) it's a new unsearched, unreported number, so unlikely to be EE.

they called me saying that they are a debt advisor and they started to put all kinds of personal questions, and when you asked them where they have the phone number from, they just hung in my face!!!! what a poor service and extremely bothering!!!!
Called by this number a few minutes ago. Answered but nothing on the other end, silent call. I do NOT know of anyone in Bangladesh and was highly suspicious when I saw the number as scammers from that part of the world usually hide their number of spoof a UK number. Added to my BLOCKED numbers.
Fraud - My bank account was almost hacked and I just got it back. Checking my profile, this number was in there, so that's how close they got to getting my bank account! A very dangerous number indeed!

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. SCAM - An automated Voice claiming to be from Amazon & my Amazon Prime Account was going to be auto-renewed. After hearing this I immediately ended the call. I am now getting getting REALLY ANNOYED with the amount of SCAM calls I've been receiving lately (all from different numbers) & feel I need to try and let other people know about it. I felt the need to report this number in case any elderly or vulnerable or/and elderly become a victim from a call from this number. I hope it helps report

I was called by this number today, the automated message told me my amazon prime account had expired and that my credit card would be charged £95 pounds for renewal, if I was unhappy about this, press 1. Sadly for them, (lucky for me) I don't have an amazon prime account, hung up imediately. The scary thing about this call was it was a local number to me, first time I've seen that, the other thing about that is it means its only relivent to people in the 0115 area, not nationally like the old scam num

My wife answered the phone, and an apparently recorded message said that there was a suspicious transaction involving a £300 bill from Amazon which had not been paid. Then she was asked to press some number at which point she ended the call. I found the callers number by using 1471. The call appears to be a scam.
