SCAM pretends to have unauthorised payments from your bank account and to "press one to stop payments" - very dangerous. NO BANK would ring up anyone without saying WHO THEY ARE FOR A START! Sick of these scam calls! At least 5 a day from "HMRC" or "Bank" or "Royal Mail". DO NOT give your details. Say you will look at your acc online - without phone "help". I checked my bank online, no probs at all.

Called today, asked for me by name (worrying as he said he got my number from price comparison sites, not possible as I always give 999999etc) said he was phoning to overhaul my life insurance .I have been registered with TPS and ex directory for decades.
These are the telesales folk from India called INFINITE SAVINGS. I suggest you don t answer any of their questions because if you do you ll be bombarded with legitimate sales people from this country who have been told by them that you are interested in their services.

Been getting calls from this number over last few days so called them back. First a woman answered, seemed like it was the last thing she wanted to do and told me the line was bad so she would call me back. No call back so I called again. A man called Joshua stated he was from Lotto Social and would like to offer me 5 free Euro Millions lines for tomorrow night (24/04/2015). This is the second time I've received these unsolicited calls- the first time was from a different number but it's the same scam. The recorded voice message says that it is a call from HMRC regarding tax fraud. You are requested to press 1 to speak to an officer who then calls you back from a listed HMRC number. They inform you that you owe tax & when you ask for details or question why you've not received any written information they become argumentative & threatening.
