I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). iv had 2 calls from this Indian the first he didn t even say where he was from or even verify my name but he was desperately after my d.o.b, post code etc. after a couple of minutes I hung up and he rang straight back saying apologies for connection but I replied "oh that s my fault I needwd to sync to my pc so I can pun point your location to come and see you face 2 face you thieving con man" and before my next breath he was gone n hasn t rang back since. Windows (Microsoft) scam call from gentleman with indian accent calling himself David.
I tried to book a room at The Principal Oxford Spires Hotel, Abingdon Road, OX1 4PS, Oxford and called a number 08448542910 indicated on their website. I had to call twice as there was an automated telephone service and no one was able to answer my phone calls. Last month I saw a charge of 1.38 GBP plus VAT on my phone bill!! What a wrong way to make money!! Looks like the hotel is doing that badly so they have to charge potential customers to simply book a room. According to the reviews on the above number
