I have been getting phone calls from this number every day for the last week. I have only had 1 voicemail left which is 2 seconds long and cuts off after the young lad says I m just calling fr..... This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 1618141xxx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with PPI calls, robocalls, insurance marketing, also accident chasers. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with something new, new scope?

SCAM Call on 4th April 21, very heavy Indian accent with a songbird in the background! Doubted it would be genuine because of the standard of english so cut him off. However he did have my first & last name and referred to me having requested VOIP which I had done previously but I had already been told definitively that VOIP was not available here. I just had contact with (real) BT who checked my records and no contact had been attempted on that date.
SCAM - recorded message saying I'm going to be arrested and to press 1 to speak to an agent to clear my name.
They have tried calling me 3 times in the past week. I have not answered. So not sure why they are phoning but I havent had any accidents. So scam!!!
