I have witnessed family getting harassment calls, invoices and debt collection threats from these stupid people. The magazine they claim to place ads in, is also aware of their scam and of course has no arrangement with them whatsoever. Report them to Trading Standards and Action Fraud and if they send letters, ignore them but keep a record of them so that when they do get caught (a matter of time) you can contribute evidence if required. Phone asking to speak to Mr ... (he had the correct surname) about a car accident Mr ... had had. When I asked which Mr ... (me or one of my sons) he said he would have to check with the insurance co and hung up. Things to note: None of the Mr ... on this number have had a car accident. The caller spoke in a very strong northern English accent. The line was really bad - he called a landline home number
