since I posted my comment on 22 April, I see lots of you have had calls, but I haven t had any more. Maybe they persist with one area for a while then move on. I did have the calls regularly for weeks before I posted here. So maybe it will quieten for the rest of you soon, particularly K.Harris. So sorry you have been pestered like this.

Spam from a company that will ask to get money from you through a voucher (3V prepaid voucher) because they say:"You have been accepted for a personal loan". By any cost, do not believe them, trust me, I have been there. They just take your money, and that s it, you have to pay more and more charges after that. So DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.

A large number of people have been called by the criminals using this fictitious number according to other sites. Their aim is to gain the confidence of people and persuade them to allow access to their computers so they can infect them. Yesterday I was out all day and when I returned I found no less than five calls from a slightly different but equally fictitious number, 01614379874, but still equally recognisable as fake from anyone who has had so many of these calls as I have. This number has called 5 times today ...Each time there is nothing ...then an automated woman's voice says goodbye after about 60 seconds ...Most annoying.

Had same thing asked about (non-existent) car accident but he knew our name. I don't know how.

This number rings me at least 10-12 times a day, when you ring back they tell you you have missed a call but they will phone you another time!!!
