Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. Repeated missed calls with 1-2 second silent/static answering machine message. I am a Wesleyan customer AND my car insurance is due for renewal soon so I assume it is them electronically dialling me? Called saying someone had gained access to my computer and was using it for illegal purposes. Couldn t hear the caller properly and they got frustrated and hung up.

No idea why they called me. I wouldn t offer my details to a random caller asking for them so they wouldn t say why they are calling. My advice is to challenge their claim who they are. Websites, letters and phone calls prove nothing. They ll soon go away if they re not getting anywhere.

Today i was called by this number and guranteed a loan of 2000 and i paid then a 50 ukash voucher and they told me to wait until 7 and then the money would be in my account yet now it is not, i have tried the phone number again and noone is answering this number is a scam and i think that the police should do something about it

Well they got cut off - put my phone on "do not disturb" 24/7 and "allow calls from contacts" However if you do speak to them and if they ask about an accident best thing is to say "which car?" It gets them every time!
