Normally they call me from different Aberdeen Numbers, so now they're trying to catch me out by phoning me from Dumfries. I am getting phone calls from this number with a recorded message saying there are suspicious transactions on my bank account and it is asking to press 1 to authorize or 2 to speak to customer services. I did not press either. I called back the number and the lady that answered said this phone number has been hacked and I should ignore any calls from it.

Instead of dialling either choice I checked my online banking record. As expected, there was no trace of any unauthorised withdrawals so I blocked the number.

After the worst experience of my life dealing or rather " attempting " To deal with Scottish Power it is a whole new experience dealing with British gas lite ,the simplicity surrounding B/gas is very nearly faultless , enter readings , receive bill online in minutes , pay by direct debit , wonderful the only fly in the ointment on a couple of times my meter readings were not as b/gas expected.

SCAM. An Asian sounding man who called himself Simon called me to say my washing machine warranty had run out. Seeing as our washing machine is about 15 or more years old I do not doubt it. I told him not to try and scam me as I had had these sort of calls before, and hung up. I have since blocked the number.
