i did report a fault with BT yesterday ,and this number says its a BT DIAGNOSTICS BOT

Number actually shows as 0019798234079 on caller ID but this site seems to drop the 00. This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. This is very similar to 0121 389 0863 and suggests in the same office. 0121 389 0863 is noted as being a nuisance call about accidents we have had or in my case not had. Now blocked.

On the 3rd attempt I gave in and answered this crazy caller and when I did all I heard was "you have been called by the Pension Report Service, we will call you back." and hung up - how is that? I am reporting you for bringing on my senior years prematurely with this madness.

Claimed to be barclaycard calling about a refund which was processed through my payment acceptance facility. Left a voicemail asking me to call them back on a premium rate number. Seemed very professional but I do not deal eith barclays whatsoever.

After doing an online insurance comparison on go compare, they call 2 or 3 time in quick succession until you answer. They are just following up your quotation, but if I do a comparison on line, it s because I don t want the hassle of talking to people like this on the phone. Ironically, they were the cheapest quote but it did put me off a little. I ve still got 2 days to decide and will probably go with them so they don t really need to be doing these "follow up" calls.
