Automated call SCAM. Said they were something like 'Visa Fraud Department' and that there were two suspicious transactions, one an Amazon Gift Card, the other an International Money Transfer. Tried to get me to press 1 to talk to their representative. Had a similar call yesterday, but didn't check the number.

This is a scam call. Pertaining to be from HMRC and stating legal action to be taken or chose an option.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. Text message left claiming to be from a child of mine, but didn’t give a name. Asked me to WhatsApp them and this was their new number, for a new phone as the old number was for the old damaged phone. It just struck me as odd so ignored and then blocked the number. I believe it was an attempt to get me to engage and was a scam.

Calling saying they were from Currys / PC World , accent suggested Indian caller, Currys / PC World do not have permission to call me - caller hung up when challenged on this. I suspect it was a scam call (your PC is infected with a virus type scam)
