Lady from a loud call centre claiming to be from BT Openreach....I strung her along for a bit...she wanted me to open pages on my internet so she could fix the slow connection that I (hadn't) logged with my ISP. When I asked if I could call her back she hung up on me. I just hope this prevents someone from actually falling for these phonecalls.

Keep ringing me but put the phone down when I answer, I tried to call back and no one answered.
This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

very faint slightly afro sounding voice- "hello, this is Alex calling from TalkTalk' are you having trouble with your internet?" Half awake I replied 'I'm not connected yet' Alex.
