A man with a strong Indian/Pakistani accent called and told me he was calling from BT as my broadband connection was to be updated. He asked me to turn on my router and my laptop and the update would automatically start to download. I said that there have been a number of scam calls asking people to do this, would he mind if I hung up and called him back. Got a call from this number today but didnt answer it. Googled it but no records. Called it back on a spare phone and got "Number Not Recognised" message. So it looks like a scam of some kind, designed to make it look like a number from Derby. I'd say "Dangerous" until proved otherwise.
