This company are based in Brighton and are trying to get you to make charitable donations to various charities.... As I already donate to a charity of my choice I do not wish to be bothered by these types of calls. I m also signed up with TPS so shouldn t get them anyway... This is the negative balance team from Paypal (See https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Paying-an-outstanding-recurring-payment/td-p/1000315 as an example). This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. The account holder has 45 days to deal with the issue, before Paypal go to the funding source to ask for the money on a "Chargeback" basis. Legitimate caller if you have a paypal account

Called me several times with some random sales offers, asking for the removal from their list didn t work so i blocked them. Today I had a voice mail and someone was clearly unhappy with it as the only thing they said before hanging up very quickly was "oh s*it" I am satisfied that for once they got annoyed with me;)

This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.

As with most other comments, single ring then hung up. Did not call back. Weird thing was, this call came in on my company mobile, the number for which is only given out to colleagues and a few family members. Recorded message claiming to be HMRC stating that it was taking me to court, and to press option 1 to speak to my case officer. Ridiculous scam, presumably trying to get my name, address and NI number. No government department would ever contact anyone in this way, and certainly never leave a message that inflammatory.
Asian chap called Bruce(???) from UK Claims Advisory Group called to say that I had some charges refunded to my bank account. If only.............
When answered 10:52 on 29/04/2023 all I heard was a buzzing sound, I did not recognise the number and put it down straight away
