This phone number dialled me 10:03am and I phoned him back now and he said no I never called that number in a sluggish grumpy voice like that guy that says “computer says no”

‘This call is from HM Customs & Excise regarding non payment of tax. You will be prosecuted blah blah blah’. Then invited to press 1 to speak to an operator, press 2 for payment. Could be worrying if you’re unaware of the scam. I just disconnected.

This is the fourth time this week calls from 01223 reputed to be Cambridge? saying my bank account has been attacked etc when pressed 2 to talk to the operator a female Asian voice answered....I asked are you in Nagapur India, the line went dead? It's obvious they have a way to get into our phone system. Another one they use is Liverpool 01514.

Lady with Indian accent claiming to be from "The Phone House Company" and wanting to upgrade me to a new iPhone 11. I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. Fraud - Indian call centre trying to sell me a phone. Didn't know my name or what netwrork I am on but claimed to be my mobile provider.

SCAM It's a hi mum I've dropped my phone...this my new number. They are after money.

This number is clearly a scam stating taxes are owed & legal proceedings will be started. 1. The terminology (& robotic voice) is American. 2. HMRC will never phone you. They will message you to go to your on-line account.

Fraud 0775 263998, text says delivery attempt 1/2 your express parcel will be returned today if I do not confirm it: adumup.com/ZUwdz3M. I know this is a scam/fraud because I do not have any parcels due. Possibly dangerous!

Claimed to be from my bank and asked for clearance for a payment I had supposedly made for nearly £1000.

SCAM - from 07773 212931 - claimed £900 had been paid for online purchase from my visa debit card. Automated message starting “dear customer”. Told me to press 1 for fraud line to stop payment.

Information Sales call SCAM - A chap called David called stating he had been asked by the Madrid courts to contact me regarding a Timeshare case which was being represented for me by a company in Spain. He stated this company had been found guilty and his company could get my money back for a 10% fee of monies recovered. DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll likely be called back later by some con-artist! They may also be quick to say they are not selling, simply enquiring, surveying, etc. THESE CALLS ARE SCAMS & HARASSING.

Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.

SCAM received a call from this number this morning. It was a message claiming to be from "your bank", stating that there was a withdrawal of money from my account, asking me to call back to "confirm the transaction". It's another scam, just hang up. DO NOT CALL THEM.
