This number should be a landline from Manchester - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet, but similar numbers of the same range 1618148xxx are always marked as call centre - telemarketing, accident claims or surveys (market research). Called today on my personal mobile phone which is supposed to be completely private as opposed to my work phone. I didn't pick up the call as I knew that it wasn't family or friend. As these calls are all reported here in a short space of time, it makes me wonder if some poor disadvantaged desperate person is being paid £10 a day to sit and dial random numbers just to see who if anyone answers. And if the call is answered then their number might be sold on to other money making profiteers!
