some company stating my electric is due for renewal and they have my renewal price as I should have received it by now. spoke to my electric company in regards to this call. they had no record of call been made. it was to early to send a renewal out plus the end of contract date was incorrect. my energy company believes it's some company fishing for information

My father in law received a call from this number stating he was eligible for some money as he had taken a loan out with Santander or Abbey National in the past. he banks with Santander but has never taken a loan out with them. The guy said he was calling

Just had a second phone call from this number 1st call they did nth leave a message, 2nd call they left an inaudible message on my answer machine. Don't bother answering call

Said they were phoning people who have had failed investments-no idea where they managed to get my details from. I must admit it gives a new twist to this type of call as they are using a local number and as such you do not assume that it is a scam.

called and said they were from Microsoft, my computer was being blocked as it showed I was using it for illegal gambling and pornography, unless I switched it on and they could fix it for me. Told them it is was ok, I didn't need it fixed because my sponsor at gamblers anonymous had said that website was fine - they hung up
