Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17092768xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, insurance claims, industrial hearing loss, accident chasers. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?

Wanted me to log onto my computer to help me fix a problem which I refused. Said they would call back in 10 mins to get me to log in and i told them no. I received a letter from Hastings Direct saying my car had been involved in an accident 6 months ago. I got suspicious as it didn t have any details of my car on the form. I called and was told line busy. I hung up after 30 seconds. I wonder how much that cost me. Great scam. Letter got my attention. I m sure my mum and dad would have held on the phone for about 30 minutes.
