There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.

Getting bored of these types of calls. I add them to my mobile phone contacts as PPI Call - Ignore, Marketing Call - Ignore and have accumulated 10 x Marketing Calls and 11 x PPI Calls in the last 12 months. There has to be a way of blocking these people from ringing you. What ever happened to ex directory?
SPAM - Called my landline, answering machine set to immediate intercept, caller immediately hung up. Legitimate callers invariably leave a message. Conclusion: this caller is illegitimate.
