I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. The idea of the scam is to make the mobile owner not pick up, but cost them on their next bill. Even though the caller did not initiate the call, the phone company will state they did. SomonE from this number called me and i was connnecetd to automated service advising that if you hang up a warrant would be sent out for your arrest. Stating from HMRC! I hung up after waiting for less than one minuute.

For the last 3 to 4 weeks, this number repeatedly calls during the day and leaves no message when unanswered. As I work nights, this generally wakes me but they don't stay on the call long enough for me to answer. I do not know anyone in the Pontypridd area and am not expecting any calls.

This number has been making numerous calls today before 8am. It alternates with a private caller saying they are from Virginmedia. I have checked with the company who have no record of any calls being made to me. Annoying maybe dangerous.

I rang the number and it went to a VM for Karl Novelli, whoever he is.
Rang to say I had won a ?2000 holiday but they needed an admin fee to cover booking costs (?85) Then tried to get my bank details and asked me for my online banking details as well. Told them I thought this was a scam at which point the caller told me to F*** off and hung up.

Claiming to be BT, saying getting reports that my router/internet speed is not as it should be. Spoken English with strong foreign accent.....said something very garbled and fast followed by OK Repeated, when I told him I had not been able to understand what he was saying. Same thing happened on 2nd time of not understanding.....but this time he hung up. Suspect not BT at all.

SCAM - very unpleasant call. Recorded message on voicemail (electronic voice) said if I didnt answer I would be arrested immediately. So far no arrest, so looks like I havent woken up in a dystopian nightmare where the police issues threatening electronic messages for 'criminals' afterall. Could be very frightening for some.
