Last night I received a call from this number and a man asked to speak to my husband. When I asked what it was about he said he was from Chase Alexander. I asked for more details and he hung up This morning he phoned again and again said he was from Chase Alexander and wanted to speak to my husband. When I asked him what he was calling about he said it was in regard to an accident. I informed him my husband had not had an accident could he be more specific. Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

This number is ao.com. They ring it when you ve placed an order in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact, their sole purpose is to sell you their costly insurance cover for the items you ve bought. No new information re delivery details is provided, they just repeat your order details. These are unsolicited scripted insurance sales calls and as such a form of harassment. They don t leave a message when they ring so that you ring back and incur the cost of the call. Very shoddy behaviour.

Very unclear line, foreign accent ranting on about BT. Unable to understand so ended call. If it was a genuine BT call it was most unprofessional, even for them.
This number calls daily, when I block it the final digit changes,descending order. Also leaves an automated voice message which is impossible to understand apart from the words “nothing to worry about, we will call you again”
SCAM / SPAM Text message. I strongly suspect this is a scam purporting to be from Amazon threatening closure of the account due to suspicious activity. I have not clicked the link. If you are unsure, access your amazon account in the normal secure manner and look for any messages.
Unwanted automatic messages about "urgent" need to apply for refund for something I never bought. Intrusive and annoying.
