Woman with a really boring voice asking for the "company owner or managing director or finance director", refused to leave a message or say why she was ringing - clearly a cold call/telemarketer. She rang again half an hour later, this time asking for the company owner by name (a 2 second Google search would have told her this), I refused to put her through and she continued to say she needed to talk to him. We went round in circles and eventually I just put the phone down. TELEMARKETER. COLD CALL.
I suspect this is related to Global Consumer Leads Limited. On the phone, they state their company s name as "Telephone Preference Management" but they give out the business address of "2 Bridge Avenue". This company is https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/08720418 and here: http://www.global-leads.co.uk/terms-and-conditions.html. I suspect this is the shady side of a business that might (MIGHT) have some non-shady activities, too.

Call center. Possibly a scam or sales, but I couldn't understand what she was saying and she quickly hung up, so it may have been a genuine call.
