Amazon Prime renewal scam call
Just got call and thought I had accidentally cut it . I have a lot of work happening on my house, and tried to call back in case may have been one of the contractors. Got a voice msg saying this number not currently accepting calls. Tried a couple of times and got same message. Googled and saw this page, so now blocked.

A guy called claiming to be from the Carphone Warehouse. Mentioned something about an iPhone. I told him I didn't use an iphone, but had a Samsung. He wanted to know what model. I told him I had a Samsung 10 that I was perfectly happy with, and I was under a contract, so not in need of another phone at this time. This is BT text service notifying you that soemone has sent a SMS to your home phone number which it will subsequently read if your home phone is not SMS enabled. A pain as it doesn t seem to be limited to reasonable hours. I don t remember telling Parcelforce that I wanted a 6AM wakeup call, I seem to remember ordering an item and receiving an email with tracking info saying they were going to deliver it.
