I had a guy round was very nice gave me my free safety audit worked out a monitoring service tht was a fair price and had my system installed 7 days later and yes I did get my free alarm all I had to pay for was monitoring very good company now I feel safe in my own home all because they called me otherwise I would of not done it

Rude ppi people. They hang up and try again with different agents. I just give them a lot of shit until they hang up. I try to be as graphic and outrageous as possible with my insults just to make them hate their jobs.

Claimed to be from TALKTALK technical dept, asking whether i had problems with internet. I'm aware of these scams so played along for a while and it was the usual thing; they get you to look up Windows Eventviewer , see the number of 'errors', say 'Oh my God', then tell you it can be fixed by doing what they say. The caller claimed to be from BT Openreach. He said my router had indicated fluctuating internet speed. He wanted me to run a speed test to identify my router. I queried his credentials. He offered to prove he knew the ID number of my connection. He asked me to open a cmd window and run the 'assoc' command. He told me the number that followed CLSID near the bottom of the resulting list. (This number is actually the same for all Windows users and nothing to do with internet access.)
