He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.

Said they were from telephone preference management service, asked me to confirm expiry on my card for security reasons, where I had registered previously for the service. They said they were updating service to block all national calls. After questioning
020 3751 5743 called and it was just silent. Thought it might have been the hospital which is only reason I answered. Wish these cold callers would get the message. I to am with tps!
