Called today said it was about a loan i had taken out and i was owed some money. Said that they had checked through my records and were going to send out details in the post but needed me to confirm which bank i had taken a loan out with for verification. had loads of calls from this number. they claim to be from talk talk and are reporting a fault on your router. What they don t know is while i have a talk talk mobile the broadband is supplied by another company. i let them ramble on for ten minutes then tell them. they just hang up

Saying from HMRC and saying that there is a tax fraud case against me and pressing 1 to speak with an officer.

SCAM! Called saying I have evaded tax and there is an arrest warrant. Pressing 1 led me to the hold music and a robot which most scammers use which say your call is very important to us. This is definitely not how you would be contacted for tax fraud. You would be arrested already.
