Thank you Google , I almost got SCAMMED FROM 289-624-4285-- 647-354-2063, .I was about to call this person for a list of software programs that I wanted for my home and new business office and I noticed that this seller was in Toronto, Yes !, So I was happy about what he had to sell because I wanted these programs,and my 14 year daughter, said she had a bad feeling about this software guy. I got a WhatsApp's message from this number, the person was pretending to be my son. The message said Hi mum this is my new number, my phone broke you can save it. I replyed but got suspicious because the reply to my message was not how my son would reply. I tried ringing the number 3 times but nobody answered. I rang my sons number and sure enough he hadn't changed his number at all. This scammer I have no doubt would have been asking me to transfer money into his account. BEWARE !!!!!

My number is hiden from sharing unless I do so and still I get calls like this ...usualy leading to some India sudo services ....DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION TO THEM ..FACT THAT THEY HAVE YOUR NUMBER IS SUSPECIOUS ITSELF .CONTACT YOUR N

SCAM I got an automated female voice stating it was bank security. £300 was to pay Amazon and £1100 was by bank transfer. I got the exact same phonecall yesterday from another number. I was to press 1 to speak to someone if I hadn't made these transactions. I have been told by my bank that if anything like this was to happen the bank would notify me with the bank's name and a the name of whoever I was talking to as soon as I answered the phone. They would never phone with an automated message.

There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.
