I was called saying my wifi was going to go go off and i was going to be given a new router. I was asked to use my mobille phone and enter a code which he gave me. He was using phonetics which didnt seem normal eg o was onion. Naturally I did'nt carry on and rang off.

Buy Bt 8500 this phone has true call only numbers in your contact list ring your , phone. Since buying this phone I have had no, Zero rubbish calls. The phone lists the numbers that have tried to get through but if they are not in your contact list your phone won t ring. Brilliant. A well spent £40 or £49 for two handsets. This is not an advert it really works.

If you've used a market comparison website for health insurance these people will ring you many times. They are helpful but very persistent.

Have received 21 calls from this number since 21 July (1 month ago). I can t be bothered to even answer it now. The name of the company they profess to be is usually either Microsoft or Windows Support. DON T TRUST THEM, IT S A SCAM.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Castle cover insurance trying to get me to renew my contents insurance with them. Harass you two or three times a day. Moral of the tale is don t give a renewal date if possible when using a compare web site- they are the ones responsible for giving out your details!

who are these companies and why are they calling me

They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! Do not talk to them, they are a scam. Use loudnoise down the line to get rid of them
