Woman called us (despite being registered with TPS, for what it's worth). She did not identify herself or their company clearly, and fired a barrage of questions at us, despite our refusal to interact with her. She said she could not remove our number from their database as "she hadn't completed her interaction with us, so we'd just receive further calls!". Her tone was extremely aggressive.
Was called three time in 20 minutes. Silence. On third call I told them to stop calling and was told to " disconnect the line, you c..t" This is at 8 in the morning. How do these scammers get away with it?
Got a call off this number saying they were doing reviews of life insurance for Zurich, asked me questions in a way that it sounded like she was testing me for the right answer (for security maybe!?) but as soon as I said to her surely you have this information in front of you the line went dead- then I googled the number and came across this thread! yet another waste of time, they hang up when answer machine kicks in. our land line is ex-directory and TPS registered so caller is obviously a scam or fraud.

Received a call from 0161 818 2004 earlier this afternoon from an chap with an Indian accent. He enquired about any motor accidents/claim that I may have had in the last 3 years. All he had was my phone number. I was immediately suspicious. He said he had a legal duty to obtain further details (name, address, date of accident, cars involved etc) and that I was legally obliged to supply it. He claimed to be acting on behalf of a bank of insurers, but failed to identify any insurers that I had policies with.
Took out policy with a woman named Connie or something similar, very good service and the policy is very worth the little money i spend a week on it. Overall, very good company.

Fake caller pretending to be a hmrc and claiming there was tax fraud investigation and if I didn't answer I would arrested promptly, I pressed 1 and a person answered saying how can I help you today, this therefore told me straight away it was a scam as why does a hmrc officer need to ask me how they can help me if they called me. Don't continue with the unless you want to mess them around.
