SCAM: Recorded message about HMRC.
Nothing more than an unsolicited call trying to source personal information under the guise of a non-existent PPI claim/refund. "Mark" pretended to know me, yet then asked me to "confirm some details for his records". Unsurprisingly he doesn t appear to have any details other than my phone number, leaving me free reign to waste his time for a bit with ficticious info. Haven t answered but I am a member of Laithwaites. Very persistently calling - three times today as well as numerous times over the last few weeks. They have never left a message so it s presumably a sales call rather than an important/legitimate issue with my existing wine plan.
