garbled Asian sounding male voice .Couldn't understand a word he said! He certainly wasn't native to the area from whence the call supposedly originated! so I hung up and blocked future calls from this number .Another attempted scam?

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported mostly as fake PPI claims (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap. For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8452866xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?

Anybody getting calls from this number should report to police and trading standards, but also file a complaint with ICO and TPS, they prey on vulnerable people so if you really need to see someone about face to face I suggest discussing all the details with the citizens advice bureaux. It's a 100% scam, very similar to binary trading options and other trading market platforms, on this particular occasion these scammers claim in their video no money is required to start using the scheme and a promised payo
