Computer voice claiming item not delivered and returned to hmrc, not likely. My opinion, scam.

This number would appear to be a scam in that if you call back it may charge premium rates and therefore should be avoided at all costs

SCAM The lady identified herself as Linda and spoke with an Indian accent, knew my postcode and said she was calling about my boiler cover, which is on a high tariff that can be lowered. I pointed out we have no cover, she tried the spiel asking how old it was. I told her it is only a few years old, paid for outright and under warranty. I told her I thought she was trying to scam me and we are TPS registered. She said sorry you would receive another call.

Scam call saying its from HSBC and that a new payee has been set up. Tells you to visit hsbc.co.uk-global-secure.help/hsbc. This is obviously a scam as i am not a customer of HSBC. I have notified HSBC and my phone provider of the number used +447733081670

A man named Derek called from 01236 362229 saying he was from my internet supplier, when pressed said Open Reach, wanted to know router details. Eventually he hung up when no info given to him.

SPAM Caller hangs up as soon as you say "hello" Do not say yes/no or your name as it may be a scam to try and get your voice recognition for personal details.

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. Fraud - claim to be from HMRC and there is a warrant for your arrest. They say don't hang up phone call otherwise they will record that you tried to run away from arrest and they will be waiting at your place of residence until you arrive to arrest you. With the pandemic, lots of people have had trouble paying tax, so it might seem real, but this is a scam. They will always give you a chance to work out a payment plan. Avoid, block.
