Had a call at 12 noon, foreign voice asked for me by name, would not tell me who was calling. He said he needed a few details. Before he could say anymore I asked where he got my phone number from. He wouldn't answer. I told him my number was registered with TPS and was ex-directory so where did he get the number. He hung up!! So fed up with these calls. Everyday we. Get at least one. BEAWARE! This is a genuine automated call from the Lloyds Banking group asking you to enter a four digit code to authorise online banking. eg. when setting up your mobile app or a new online payment. HOWEVER the scammers are very devious these days and can call you from genuine phone numbers. I know this because this has happened to me. Luckily I was suspicious and was not scammed. Cannot go into details as my comment would be too long!

This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. I suspect this was a scam/Fraud attempt, a recorded message stated something like..."Crime Investigation, your National Insurance Number and Bank Account are suspended because of a criminal investigation..." Hung up.
