I have just joined the RAC and have noted 7 calls this week from this number! What say we all report them to the Information commissioner as breaching the Feedom of Information Act (Data Protection Act is section 40, subsection 1 http://www.ico.org.uk/ And not renew!

The phone number is used for user verification. When you answer the call, a device gives you a six digit code.
SCAM Automated message claiming to be from your Internet provider. Say's they have been trying to contact you re illegal activity detected from your Internet Account. Press 1 to speak to *scammer* in Chief or your Internet will be disconnected within 24 hrs. NOTE: This is NOT your Internet Provider - It's a recorded message, it cannot answer you nor hear you. DO NOT PRESS 1, just hang up/disconnect the call. When I answer my phone I stay silent until someone speaks, works for me.
