The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.

This number claimed to have been calling about my ‘recent car accident’. Out of curiosity of what this woman was going to say I said ‘Which one?’. Straight away she said ‘Ok, we’ll take you out of our system.’ Clearly this call was a scam.

Said British Gas calling, press any number to continue, I hung up and rang British Gas from the number on the bill for complaints. I was told it was not their number and they had not called me. Looks like a scam that may connect to a premium rate number
