We accepted a call from this company as we were in the process of trying to get a lifeline installed, due to coincidence we ended up with them visiting. Clearly cold-calling/ambulance chasing. Accept at your peril- in person sales technique equally as aggressive and alarmist (no pun intended)!!

They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!

Asked about my computer and windows, told him had no computer and finished conversation.

Keeps calling , haven t answered it but when they leave a voice mail it is completely silent !! Don t trust numbers that wont leave a verbal message.

I answered and they said I had worked in a factory and could claim for industrial hearing loss. I have never worked in a factory. Told them to remove me from their database and have now blocked.

Yep me too.....I called the number back and some Indian guy said from HMRC asked my name then said “OK I will remove you from list” then hung up!

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. I suspect this company called my company switchboard based on my LinkedIn profile as I have never supplied my work number outside of work and is not publicly advertised. Cold called to ask whether I had a UK pension because they can give me ?advice?. Yeah right. SCAMRADAR activated.

if you have a call number display this a no brainer just look at the the that is calling you in this case 03301330021 and just leave it they only ring a few times then give up ! if you pick it up and answer they go silent ,complete wasters
