SCAM / SPAM Scammers pretending to be HMRC! They pretended to be an HMRC call centre and pick up the line from a queue asking what it is about before they got my name in order to check and find out. Once they got that, they told me I am wanted for fraud, which is a criminal offence and asked if I have a criminal lawyer I can contact. SCAM. This is a scam number, I received a call from this mobile number today purporting to be from my bank saying I had two large withdrawals one to Amazon and one to an overseas account and I should press 2 to speak to an operator about them or press 1 to cancel the payments straight away before the money left my account. I hung up and checked on line banking, no such withdrawals made so this is a scam.

Not a clue who this was, the call rang for about 5 rings then cut off just before I could answer. No voicemail left. Tried to return the call but recorded message telling me the number was invalid. Potentially a scam as lots of numbers using 0203 numbers to appear as a London number.
