SCAM / SPAM I suspect a scammers phoned me claiming there is a tax fraud under my name. Telling me to press 1 and if I did not do this I would be arrested shortly. Of course I just hung up, no fraud office, tax or otherwise would conduct itself in this manner.

Answering this number gives rise to a recorded message threatening legal action and arrest for tax evasion, and an option to press a number for further action. I rang off, but this looks like a dangerous phishing call that is after personal details (banking details). As it comes from a Westminster landline it should be easy to trace and shut down. It should be investigated by by the police.

Called our TPS registered line. Started talking before we had even managed to say "Good afternoon". Demanded to speak to "The owner of the business". When asked who we were speaking to said "UK Distributors". Were told we did not wish to speak to them and we hung up.
