Fraud this number keeps texting me saying it is my "eldest" and they have lost their phone and need me to pay for this new phone. However, when I ask them their name, they just say "eldest". I dont actually have children, so this must be a fraud act.

A gentleman who sounded African, giving his name as George, said he was from a company (poss a website?) whose name I did not quite catch, sounded like "evil News", which sounded like nothing I have ever signed up for or connected with, trying to get personal and financial information. told him I was ending the call and rang off. It screamed "phishing scam" at me.

I had a call from 01253 347277 just now and it was a lady trying to sell me a new phone contract. I googled the number and it shows up as a guest house in Blackpool, so I don’t understand really.

We ve been hassled twice this week by these ambulance chasers using a Bedford telephone number (which they don t even bother to withhold!) We ve told them we re registered with the Telephone Preference Service and they ve reassured us we will be removed from their list...we shall see!!!
