Well this is some landline from Manchester area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts : people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated, all the same 016176801xx) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different comapnies, but for sure some general call centre. People did someone answer it?

These companies that provide numbers in first instance need to be investigated and blocks put in place. I think the UK regulator in the field is failing us as the public. What do they actually do??? 24 Feb 2021 - I've had numerous calls from this number in the past few days stating I have a criminal record which that was the first call I answered then the second call I answered was a guy stating it was the job centre (universal credit) now since then its been voicemails as I didn't want to answer stating they are DWP I've been very confused and adjitated for over a week.. my gut is telling me its all a prank!
