This is the second call i hve had from a 0115 number.Silent call. No one on the line Have to put my answer phone on two ring response,to minimise the effect. Serious nuiaance.

Harassing call - pretending to be from HMRC Investigations alleging law suit been brought for alleged tax evasion. Scammer.
Just had call from them. Again hung up when I answered. So tempted to do the same to them repeatedly and therefore block their line in.
Didn't answer as I wasn't expecting any calls from this type of number. From what I could suss from another site that this is classed as scam.

Fraud call came in from the number 07951 799 817 they spoke with an Indian accent and claimed to be calling from Microsoft Service. We had been hacked, and it was our duty to Microsoft to allow them access to our PC. When we told them that what poof did we have that we'd been hacked, they got very aggressive and said that it was done to us if we didn't believe them and that it would on our own heads if we lost our money as a result of being hacked. So we put the phone down on them.

I got a call from a lady what sounded like an Australian accent, asking about a PPI claim with my bank. She was unable to identify any further information about me, other than the fact I am owed a refund back from my bank. Which she could not identify which bank owes me this money. Handset showed a local number but was also saying 'International' call. Said they were from Amazon and were talking about an Iphone at which point I hung up as it has nothing to do with me. I then tried ringing the local number which displayed but the number was not recognised.

Phone on to answer phone. Caller hung up and did not leave a message. Got the number from 1471, but when I tried to ring back was told number not recognised.
I receive 2 or 3 calls a day from this number - when I answer the line goes dead and as with Jon, if I try to call back the call doesn t connect.
