Asian lady called. Did not catch the name but said she was could claim back interest that had been wrongly charged to all my bank accounts and building society accounts over the past 20 yrs due to a new government ruling. She knew my name and address and telephone number, although she did get the postcode wrong. Did not correct her. Asked her to put the info in writing as was wary of any cold callers. She said OK and hung up. Interested to see if any info comes through the post!!

They knew my name, address etc. They then told me that they weren't selling, but carrying out a survey on the electrical appliances I have in my home. They wanted me to confirm my details which I refused to do. I wasn't going to tell them where I live, all of my personal details and what I have in my home in case a couple of weeks later I'm burgled!

Dialled 1471, caller had withheld their number. 10.22am text message from above number stating I could be entitled for up to ?4999.00 in compensatiion for missold PPI on credit cards or loan.
