Received a call this morning from the above number. Said that my pension was now due for review. Said they were the PENSIONS ADVICE BUREAU and confirmed my address and postcode. Said they were conducting reviews on UK pensions and that my pension was due for review. Seems strange as I have no pension nor is one then up for review. Told her this and then she apologised and said that the number would be removed form the system. I asked her questions about what the mature of their business was. Told pensions

Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. I was called from this number at 7:53 on Monday morning. Call from 'Microsoft Technical Centre'. I pointed out the inconvenient time and they promised to call back...........' I told them not to bother.

SCAM Call started with ' A oversees transaction of 600 pounds was made today was this you ' Was then asked to answer yes or no. I stated no I was put through to a foreign call center stating to be from the Halifax. I stopped him and stated I will end the call and call Halifax direct myself. After doing so Halifax stated it was a scam call and to block the number.

I have the TruCaller App (Free version) it notifies you of scams, etc before you answer. I will be using this on my new phone, it s a great little App and instantly told me this was a PPI scam. I recommend this App to anyone, and I blocked this number straight away. All numbers TruCaller checks against a huge database of Blaclisted phone numbers.
