Had some rude Asian man answer the phone who told me my loan application had been APPROVED......Interesting because I hadn't made one with 'Now Loan' I proceeded to ask questions...this irritated the idiot on the phone who SHOUTED at me! Fraud Automated voice telling me there has been a payment request for £800. from my VISA card. They then ask you to press 1. Obviously I didn't.

Was called by this number which was automated. Informing me that my Amazon Prime was being renewed and that money would be taken from my bank account and to press 1 to speak to the Service Manger. Assess this as a Scam as I do not have Amazon prime.

SCAM I have this afternoon received a telephone call purporting to be National Grid Meter Department and confirming a date and time to change meter as they said it was over charging. Suggested a refund available since last year of £652.23 Offered a booking slot and advised the new meter number as E14UP04L89. SCAM Had a number of calls recently offering a new iPhone. I don't use or like Apple products so they are wasting their time. 2 calls yesterday from 01208 247201 - missed the 1st, but they rang again withing seconds. As suspected, another iPhone scam call. That block of numbers is owned by Franzcom Telecoms in Bodmin, Cornwall. Something needs to be done to prevent these foreign scammers spoofing UK telephone numbers.

SCAM! Claiming to be calling from Microsoft in relation to a device that is compromised. Caller kept changing tact from it being a product in my name to one in my husbands name, and from a device to a license then refused to give details of what was alleged to be compromised.
