Just 5 minutes ago. Marie Bardsley from Retro Specialists asking to confirm if I was involved in a car accident that was not my fault. Voice sounded too polished to be from a call centre and hung up before I could determine if it was a robot call. Blimey it must be busy this morning, I was called from 0118 328 0473. My phone number ends in 49403 so I wonder if it is dialling a sequence. Would be interesting if others left the last 5 digits.

I Received a call from this number twice today and when i was able to answer they introduced themselves as Consumer helpline, the lady on the call advised that i had overpaid for finance in 2011 and she wished to help me get this refunded however i have never taken anything out on finance. I asked to submit a subject access request under the Data Protection Act where she then passed me to her manager. Had a phone call stating my service was due on my dyson. Agreed the guy would come next day which he duly did. Took dyson apart stated I needed new filters brush and he could do it for £90 told him I had spare filters and didn t feel I needed a brush anyway relented and got him to supply a pre- filter and was charged £25 could have bought it for £9.99. Used this company last year no problem . Won t be using them again. Don t like scaremongering.
