An insurance company who say they are calling you because your number was used in an on line quote for personal injury insurance. The caller also had an email address but would not give me any 2-3 letters of the address - for data protection reasons. Ironic is it not!!

Had this number call a few times, yes it's part of Halifax but it's one of many of their areas - it could be birmingham midshires mortgage. It's not a scam. The reason you can't call the number back is it's a number set up not to accept incoming calls - many banks/mortgage companies etc have them now adays. Yes sometimes it's an Asian person, sometimes it's an English person - I'd love to know how you know though that they're muslim! Just because you can't call the numbeer back doesn't = scam. Spoke to someone who called on this number reporting they were calling from ee. Appeared to know details of my account. Offered three separate offers which I declined. Was not suspicious as the gentleman was very polite and courteous at all times, however received two further calls today. First one I answered and when I said I was at work she kept talking. 2nd u left unansweref. A bit of a nuisance so I have now blocked the number
