These companies that provide numbers in first instance need to be investigated and blocks put in place. I think the UK regulator in the field is failing us as the public. What do they actually do??? In my opinion virtual numbers and use there of including the companies that provide these numbers needs to be monitored to stop this abuse. This number called me, I picked up and said nothing and waited for somebody and no one was there - caller hung up after 10 seconds. I'd like to give a tip, if an unknown/suspicious number calls, pick up and stay silent, if there's is a human on the other end 99.9% chance they will speak first however if it's a computer/auto dialer/robo call it will auto hang up and that's just how I roll these days
