Spam call, pretending to be HM revenue and that I had a "fraudulent" claim under my name. Wanted me to press 1 to speak to a staff member

As it was our local area code we answered. After a short pause a male with an Asian accent said he was from BT and asked how we were, of course we instantly hung up, we are not BT customers.

The most pernicious nuisance callers at the moment. Multiple numbers from the same area code. Just stop bothering people and get a proper job!

Automated Debt Management message. Apparently I opted in to their service, More likely someone sold my number!
Said she was in my area and they could save me money on my BT bill and would like to come and visit me. Sounded very disappointed when I said no!

I didn't recognise the whole number but knew the local code so I answered. It's Rapid Entry Rescue phoning me after one of their guys actually got me in my cat after I locked the keys inside!
