This number called me today and left a message on my answer service to say they were calling from HMRC and they were filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to press 1 to speak to my Case Manager. This was very frightening as I listened to this message just before going to bed at 11pm. I took a note of the number and googled it and this is when I came upon this site. I had a call from this number where a somewhat threatening female voice informed me that criminal charges were about to be brought against me. I'm a 74 year old female who, while maybe not quite fitting the description of an angel, has not committed any crimes, heinous or otherwise. Were I the type who was easily intimidated I might have pressed 1 to see further details but luckily I'm not so I didn't. I'd love to punch this so and so right in the kisser but that WOULD be criminal - but deserved!!
